The pools at Avon Recreation Center include a five-lane 25-yard lap pool, lazy river, 140-foot waterslide, aquaclimb climbing wall, and diving well.^* For kids, there's a zero-depth entry pool featuring fun animal character sprayers, bubblers, fountains, and age-appropriate slides.

Avon Recreation Center offers TechnoGym treadmills and elliptical trainers, Precor^® AMT^®, Precor upright and recumbent bikes, StairMaster^® StepMill, Jacobs Ladder™, and Freemotion^® Incline Trainers. All feature a personal viewing station, which includes a flat-screen monitor with cable TV.

The weight and strength area is equipped with state-of-the-art Paramount strength equipment and a full line of Iron Grip^® urethane dumbbells.

A broad range of group fitness classes are offered six days a week in the spacious aerobics studio of the Avon Recreation Center. Featuring a cushioned hardwood floor and professional sound system, you can choose from a variety of high or low impact, high or low intensity, core strength, balance, flexibility, senior activities, and yoga. You may also enjoy cycling classes in the spin studio and water fitness in the pool.
